Who Are We? Who Do We Serve?

Alectrix Preparatory is a K-6 hybrid learning pod and microschool, located in Lawrenceville, Georgia that provides families with an individualized education that meets students where they are. We serve neurotypical students and students presenting with dyslexia, dysgraphia, anxiety, ADHD, non-verbal processing disorder(NVLD), or mild processing challenges. We prioritize an individualized approach to learning within our supportive community, ensuring our students thrive not only academically, but socially and emotionally.

Our Philosophy

In contrast to conventional grading systems, Alectrix Preparatory organizes students into small groups. This set-up facilitates a more personalized and collaborative learning environment, effectively catering to each student’s unique needs and learning pace. Our curriculum is formulated to bolster skills in core areas such as literacy, math, writing comprehension, non-verbal reasoning, and social-emotional learning.

Every student at Alectrix Preparatory benefits from one-on-one focused learning, which deepens their understanding of subjects and enhances their self-confidence. In addition, we have Project Fridays, where our students engage in hands-on activities ranging from robotics, art, drama, and more. These project-based activities complement their academic learning and stimulate creativity while fostering critical thinking and team collaboration.
